DBS & PVG

All of those who wish to work with children under the age of 18/vulnerable adults, be that as a coach, trainer or mentor must undergo and satisfy a DBS check (for those in England or Wales) or a PVG check (for those in Scotland).

Anyone who does not undergo and satisfy a DBS or PVG check through The Gaelic Games Council of Britain (GGCB) will not be permitted to work with children under the age of 18/vulnerable adult.

Your County Children’s Officer and the CDA allocated to your County will be able to assist you with making the appropriate application.

If you have any questions please contact GGCB’s Children’s Officer who will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Contact: childernsofficer.britain@gaa.ie
